PaPa, There are several Elite players and Major caliber teams in Little League (and other orgs)that most of us are not seeing in tourneys.
We discovered the NYO Toros in 9U, then in 10U a few of us played the Georgia Force of Tifton, now in 11U the Cartersville Rookies emerge. These are Major caliber teams. There are more out there.
We haven't even seen the top 2 LL programs yet...Warner Robbins and Columbus. Titan1 should be able to reach Warner Robbins. I just spoke to LL's District 8 President (Columbus's District), and while he is not allowed to give out any contact info, he did take mine and agreed to pass it along to the Columbus LL so they could contact me. I also have a call into Grand Slam's Lagrange Tourney Director who might be able to help.
I confirmed that LL teams are allowed to play outside tourneys so long as it doesn't interfere with their Spring LL schedule. I'll try to see if any of the Columbus LL folks would agree to play Grand Slam's Nov 14-15 event. They don't have single age teams like we do (11U for instance). They group 10s-11s together, and in some cases 9-12! So, they'd have to aggregate the best 11's from several teams to play in a 11u tourney.
PaPa, do you know if the Bandits are available Nov 14-15 if I can get the best Columbus LL 11's together to play that Lagrange event?

Papa, I've done all I can on this. A Grand Slam tourney director near Lagrange tells me he has teams in his Nov 14th event that are made up of LL all stars from the Columbus program. I suggested he find this forum and post the details. I also suggested he contact his counterpart that coordinates tourneys near Warner Robbins/Macon to do the same. If they are savvy marketers, they'd tee up these two LL programs' LL all star teams to play GS tourneys at ages 10,11,12,13. If the teams couldn't hang with the Major caliber travel teams, the mystique would quickly fade away, but if they can (which i suspect) it could be a great series of tourneys.

Papa has always wanted to see how one of these Little League teams would match up with an elite travel ball team. Titan1: Are they restricted from entering travel tournaments prior to making their all star selections or is this team together now and could play if they chose.
I have always heard that Little League pretty much restricts what they can and cannot do. Bandits looked into Little League but couldn't make it work.
Help us out here. If this team is really good then let's see what we can do to give them a game. It would be nice to put on your resume that you played and maybe even beat the Little League World Champions. This would be a ton of fun win or lose.
