I see the Bandits are coming to the party now. Looking like this is the true test all of us have been waiting for. Now if Sandtown gets in it'll be just like spring. Let's get this party started!!!!

okay, you caught me, I grew up in Detroit, so I'm biased. However..

Hit Dogs are playing a lot of ball this Fall, and picked up several new players. The 1 from MSA Black intrigue's me the most.

So far as their poor showing in the Elite 32...dig a little deeper mon ami...2 of the 3 teams they lost to finished top 5.

Driving all the way to Georgia...hmmm, I gotta think they're feeling really good about themselves right now. They are baseball sharp, and want to make some noise before strapping on the blades (hockey skates for you Southerners, football is the 3rd sport in the Motor City).

Guys, the Motor City team will have to play a lot better than they did in Cooperstown and Elite 32 to hang with the top 6 teams at the TC tournament.

blowinsmoke, I didn't know that Sandtown and Bandits are the only teams that played travel ball last spring. I'm just glad to see a good variety of elite teams involved and you can't say elite without both of those teams being mentioned.

Nope. I hope they do. Its always more interesting to have Major teams from other States.

Man. Sandtown gets no love. I think the bandits run away with this thing. They may give up a few more runs because it is fall. But bottom line none of these ga teams can hang, maybe sandtown. Here is my rankings

Bandits

Sandtown

Cougars

Everybody else

Could jimmy123 and jc1964 be one and the same person. Papa tried to call the numbers and got "Love Connection" Papa is not good at math unless I am counting money. Papa has lots of sweatshirts but one that I do not have is the Triple Crown Fall State as this is one that always eludes the Bandits. I don't know if it's the cold weather and trying to play baseball with football players or that the other teams are just better prepared earlier. I think it probably has more to do with the great teams that have prepared hard for this one that makes this one so elusive for us to catch.

OK Papa, I checked with Freaky Dad ... it's not him (so he says). He did say he remembered a Seinfeld episode with a character named Jimmy who referred to himself in the 3rd person all the time. Somebody's having some fun with you for sure though ...

Guys, As much I love my Bandits you have all got to understand that what makes this place such a special baseball place is that they are many great teams. Never and I say Never leave Sandtown out of your equation. Never and I mean Never write off 643 as they are so well coached and hardly ever beat themselves. Scorpions are getting better and better, Stars must be not be overlooked or you will get beat, this new Team Georgia has caught the eye of many baseball folks, Chili Dogs will always be the Chili Dogs and will always be hard to handle, Moser has mentioned several Gwinett teams that might make some real noise this new 11U year and I know that I have also left off some other great teams that will make me sorry that I overlooked them but know that it was not on purpose. (Titan's are one for example.) It seems that around every corner another great team is lurking just waiting to pounce.

I believe that we should all feel really good that we have the opportunity to face this level of competition that cannot be found in many other places across the United States. The great thing that I can say about Georgia baseball is that no quicker than you climb the hill in front of you another bigger hill in is line that needs to be climbed.

I know lots of the Georgia teams are glad to see this tournament. Stixx Baseball won it last year. I look forward to seeing the outcome and wish you all a safe and warm weekend!

I think they say the pools will be out tomorrow. I agree with papa, there are alot of great teams lurking. I still think the outcome will be the same bandits on top. I also think that the second tier teams, jaguars, express, jackets, scorpions, stars, titans, chilidogs, ga select could knock off one of the big boys at anytime doing the up coming season.

I think Justincase hit the nail on the head. It's nice that the Bandits are recognized as the favorite but the point is that the Bandits have not yet won this tournament and the champion will be decided between the lines and he is so right in stating that all the teams he mentioned and others are more than ready to knock off the Bandits and each other during the process. I think the coming year might not only be the best for this group so far but I also think you will not see any dominant team in this age group. There is a lot of strength and now parody in this age group. We might see a new champion every week.
