No one can dispute baseball in Cartersville, look at what Stewart Chester has done at the hs for years now. Ill take Duluth to win with Cartersville close and SS blue right behind them.

bmoser,
Maybe you could shed some light on the Sharon Springs teams for me. I know that they are going to have 4 11U teams this year, but I am not sure which is which. If you look at the Lanier web-site it shows that the Silver Team is the old Fire Ants and the White team is last years Blue Allstar team. Which are the two teams from last year (Silver & Blue)? I figured if anyone knew, it would be you. Any Sharon Springs folks out there that are in the know?

Duluth got beat by the Slobber Knockers 10-2, and the SS Blue got beat by the Slobber Knockers 10-3. SS Blue also lost to the Cartersville Rookies, not sure of the exact score but it was a close game. It was very cold and wet out there!!!

I think my seeding below is correct, but I dont know game times for Sunday (today), can anyone help? Since 9 teams I suppose #1 bye, 9 vs 2, 8 vs 3, 7 vs 4, 5 vs 4. Think I'll skip the first t-t-two games, t-t-too c-c-cold.

#1 Suwanee Storm 2-0 (had easiest pool draw)
#2 Slobber Knockers 2-0
#3 Cartersville 2-0
#4 Duluth Wildcats 1-1
after that, I have no idea. I know SS Blue went 0-2, but had the toughest draw.

Cartesville won the Champioship over the Sharon Springs Blue Spartans. The Cartesville team had everyone playing on Sunday and were very impressive. The Sharon Blue Spartans were playing their 4th game of the day and ran out of gas and pitching. They had won against White Spartans, Sauwnee Storm, Duluth Wildcats. They Lost in pool play Saturday night to Cartesville 10-9.

I'll have to defer to TAAJ for more detail than I am able to provide below. I was there late Saturday, and Sunday for 2 hours (had to go to my sons' scrimmage).

I saw Sloberknockers run rule PC Cyclones, SN's hit 1 homer. I heard Cartersville hit 2 against the Slobberknockers in their 7-5 win.

I saw SS Blue mixed in some new players from other Forsyth and EC teams, and finished 2nd. Anyone know the final score in the C'p game?

As impressive as the Rookies looked, by their own admission, they are #3 in Georgia's LL World behind Warner Robbins and Columbus. I'd like to see #1 & #2.

bmoser, I think the final score was 14 to 3 in the championship game. smallball I dont think the duluth kid got of hold of one but there were two monster blasts doing the whole entire weekend, one was from a big kid from cartersville and the other was from a big kid from sharon springs. There is a house with a back yard behind the field and a elevated fence, both of those shots went over that fence in that back yard. I think both of those kids hit two or three home run each doing the tournament. The field is pretty small, maybe 185 down the lines. I think cartersville had 4 or 5 kids that went deep over the weekend. Those boys can hit.
