What dynasty are you referring to. They had a little run but I wouldn't call it a dynasty. It would be good if they came to East Cobb as the Scorpions won't have to travel so far to beat them.
It's one thing to journey from a few counties away to play on a team but if parents are trucking their son from that far away at any age group under 14u, they need to get a psychological evaluation. Your kid would be better off if you put that travel expense money into a fund for them to have when they enter the "real" world.
After the Glory's display of poor sportsmanship the parents and coaches Displayed at Cooperstown and the USSSA nationals they should have broken up and ran as far from each other as possible
I heard rumors of the 10U Glory's parents and Coaches at Cooperstown and Disney but I must say on their behalf that I was at Cooperstown and although you can't be all places I never saw the Glory or their coaches or their parents act out of line. I have heard the rumors of the fights but have never personally witnessed anything other than a well played, hard fought game out of the Glory.
I for one think that it is a shame to break this great baseball team up. One of the things the better teams should want and hope for is to play the teams that have made a statement that they are the best this age group has to offer. The Bandits look for these teams not for the headlines but for the opportunity to play what the nation believes to be the best. Papa has said many many times that if you really want to get better that you must put it on the line and play the best.
Again, I don't know what happened with the Glory and I am not coming to their defense. I am just worried that our age group is losing one of the very things that keeps us challenged.
