NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS
Eastern Region
9 teams from Georgia traveled to Destin Florida to compete in the Inaugural USTBA Eastern Region National Championships May 28 thru July 3.
Teams from Florida, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Tennessee and Indiana were in attendance.
The Georgia teams had a great showing with 4 teams competing in Championship Games.
Four of the Championship Games in the 11U, 12U and 13U were decided by 1 run proving the great level of competition.
11U American Division Runner-Up
East Cobb Longhorns
(defeated by the Tennessee Stingers 5-4 in 8 innings)
11U National Division Champions
North Gwinnett Bulldogs
(defeated the Capitol City Cubs from Louisiana 2-1)
13U American Division Champions
East Cobb Braves
(defeated the Emerald Coast Blazers from Florida 2-1)
13U National Division Runner-Up
Clermont A's
(defeated by the Clarksville Orioles from Tennessee 4-2)

In the first year of operations, USTBA will host over 250 teams in National Championships

The Spring Nationals were hosted in Charlotte North Carolina in May and the Championship teams received a PAID BERTH to the East National Championships.

The East Nationals were hosted at Destin Beach Florida at the beautiful Morgan Sports Complex less than a mile from the beach June 28-July 3

The Midwest Nationals are being hosted at the beautiful "Field Of Dreams Park" in Indianapolis, In and Schaumburg, Il currently with over 100 teams participating beginning July 16

The West Coast Nationals are being hosted in Southern California at the #1 rated youth baseball complex's in the country... "Big League Dreams Park" and area Minor League & College facilities currently with over 75 teams participating beginning July 29
