What a great weekend for baseball!!! The USTBA Georgia Invitational proved to be a great tournament with some very, very competitive teams and games. The first 5 games in pool play were 1 run nail-bitters and the sixth game ended in an 8 inning tie of 2-2.

In the play-off round in the American Division East Cobb & Line Drive had to play 11 innings in the semi finals with a final 3-2 score and Line Drive edging out with the win to advance to the finals against the Kennesaw Clubs. The championship game followed suit in a close game with Line Drive leading 7-6 going tnto the seventh inning. The Cubs were able to put together a seventh inning rally scoring 4 runs and coming out victorious with a 10-7 Championship Title win.

The National Division mirrored the close & competitive games as in the American Division. In the semi finals, Harris County came from behind in the seventh inning against the North Georgia Bears with a 6-3 score, advancing to the finals matching up against the Dug-Out Club Strikers. The seven inning National Championship game was close throughout and either teams game to win. In the end, The Strikers were crowned National Division Champions with a 5-3 win.

We would like to thank all the teams that competed and for the great sportsmanship and competitive example exhibited throughout the tournament.

Was that the 10, 12, or 14 age group?

Who were the teams playing in each division?

that was probably the 15,16,17 or 18's. USTBA hasnt gained much traction in the younger age groups this fall. Not that it wont, it just hasnt yet.
