The Scorpions Baseball Academy in Holly Springs,GA will be holding an open tryout to fill the final three roster spots for the upcoming Fall 2012/Spring 2013 season for rising 8 year old players looking to play on a competitive kid pitch travel ball team. The 8U Scorpions primary focus will be on player development as we play tournaments through the Fall and Spring seasons. The team will benefit from professional level instruction at every practice.

Scorpions Baseball Academy is a fully functional baseball facility located just off of exit 14 on I-575. Adcock field is a fantastic facility that plays host to many triple-crown tournaments and is fully equipped with concessions, stands, and lights. The facility is also home to the batting depot which has four indoor batting cages that are equipped for pitching/hitting with pitching machines available for use as well. Both of these phenomenal facilities will be used by the Scorpions through the duration of the 2012/2013 season.
The professional instructors at Scorpions baseball include: Steve Pollard- a former pitcher for the New York Yankees baseball organization Willie Burgess- comes to us from the East Cobb Baseball organization and has coached many players to NCAA Division 1 scholarships and others to minor league contracts
