Tryouts for the 8u Cherokee Reds Travel Program is tentatively scheduled for August 12th from 4pm to 630pm. Then a final tryout will be held on August 18th from 4pm to 630pm.
The Cherokee Reds program, for those who aren't familiar, is a family friendly organization, with state of the art facilities and is located on Bells Ferry Rd. near Bridgemill Golf Club. We are a Nike Package park.
We're planning to continue the Reds history of fundamental and mechanical baseball while instilling ethical values and building our future leaders. These boys are 7 and 8 years old, we, as coaches and parents, understand the importance of a sound baseball education, but also a fun, safe learning environment.
The coaches at Cherokee Reds are hand selected. We will put a competitive team on the field, but we will also build memories for these boys.

Sunday August 12th from 4-630 pm. Final tryout on Saturday August 18th from 4-630.
Tryouts will be held on fields 1&2 which is down the nature trail past the concession stand. Check in will be at field 2.
We've got a good core group of boys. Looking to fill 5 spots going into a relaxed fall practice season then an organized winter workout period, before heading into a full spring.
We have unlimited field and cage time and the opportunity and intention of throwing tournaments to pay for a large margin of our budget.
We've put together a very successful coaching staff and intend to field a very competitive team.

Thanks to everybody who came out today. Saw alot of great ballplayers out there!
We still have a few spots left to fill. Final tryouts will be held on Saturday August 18th at 4pm.
The boys had a great time as did we and look forward to seeing everybody again and even add a few faces!

We do have spots available. We're not going to finalize a roster until after tryouts today.
Final tryout today at 4 on field 2, at end of the nature trail. Look for the balloons by concession stand.
Also planning to take a few private tryouts later if necessary as we have unlimited field time.
