| I think you're right - those were the 9's. I know that the Cherokee Reds won 12U (finishing up a 7-6 win over the Cumming Thunder at around 11 pm last night). Also, the East Side Trojans and West Cobb Red Hawks made it to the championship game at 13U, and their coaches agreed to play at a later date (but earlier and hopefully warmer time). Haven't seen or heard any other info. |

5-8 in no particular order South Forsyth War Eagles, Dawsonville Dirty Dozen, Gilmer Bobcats, Midway Heat.
Weather was brutal-Snow/sleet. Championship game temp was 39 degrees |

as an attendng parent of this arctic tournament can offer a correction: ec Warriors did not even show up for the sunday games , no show. other teams did to still play so how do they finish "3rd place"?? pls confirm or check information  think you have them mixed up with Mid-Way Heat. |

Midway Heat lost their Quarterfinal game to N GA Warriors. EC Warriors beat Gilmer Bobcats in their 2nd game-which was the 9a.m. game on Sunday. Had they not played then Gilmer would have taken their spot. They did not show for their semi game. Although I believe I did see a couple of players hanging around as if they were going to play. So since they didnt show-i guess technically they were 4th. However, I have no doubt that they are stronger than N GA Warriors who lost in the other semi final.
To call it an artic tournament is an understatement. |

I am corrected. 4th place is correct with no show forfeit.
not sure about being stronger but we can never know |
