So, here we are 1 month into the 12U season but at the same time with only a few months left. What has been your thoughts on the season so far in regards to changes in the game from 11U, teams, strategy etc...

Here are my 3.

1) More parity across the age group, sure some of the top teams are still tough to beat but we've seen the lose to teams they wouldn't have in yrs past.

2) So many more curveballs being thrown and most aren't very good ones, seeing hitters adjust and seeing so many is helping them hit it.

3) To reference another thread, there seems to be so much player movement then yrs past but reasons why seem to vary.

My thoughts to the season so far is that any given day you can be beat. Pitching is outstanding and folks are really paying attention to records in class and pitching to it accordingly. The better the record the better pitching you see all weekend.
Seems weather is a player every weekend. By time the day ends some teams have used up some pitching where others didn't even play due to weather. Bracket play then is seeding according to points. So Sunday when bracket play begins if you didn't play Saturday, Sunday you still have fresh arms.
Lastly, cause I could go on and on....the boy's are becoming men and I mean by the minute. Bigger, stronger, faster, smarter ball players at this level.
