I'm confused. The Tournament index of this site shows the "Javy Lopez Wood Bat Brawl" @ ECB on 4/4-4/7. Then it shows the "1st Annual Javy Lopez Wood Bat Nationals" on 6/22-6/24. Are these 2 different tourneys? Or was it just re-scheduled? ECB's tourney listings is down right now. USSSA nor Triple Crown lists a Javy Lopez tourney. The closest thing I find is USSSA'S "Battle of the South" wood bat event on 5/22. Anybody have any insight on this.
I'm not the definitive answer here but know that in the past Javy has sponsored multiple wood bat tourneys.
Last year I was aware of 2 Javy Lopez tourneys - one @ North Gwinnett (where his kids play) and another in Dalton too. I can tell ya that Javy is totally awesome at the events, and really enjoys hanging with the kids as well as standing behind his product too.
