I'll take Elite diamond dawgs & Buckhead baseball in the ship with Diamond Dawgs winning without looking at brackets. |

looks like the list has been revised, Simpsonville should be in the running i would think. |

some of it is $$ and some do not want to play better teams. those aren't hard to figure out, they always play the smaller tournaments where they can do well. funny thing is many claimed they were going to play a "major" schedule but continue to enter AA type tournaments. |

I just don't get that. We can play at a AA level some days (most) but at a competitive AAA level on good days. They are 12 years old, you never really know what you are going to get! But, it seems to me, the only way to get better is to expose them to the best competition that is available.

so simpsonville goes 0-2 in pool play and ends up wining this thing over the sandy springs sox whoever they are. who is the 9th inning royals too? |

I think 9th Inning Royals are the former NYO all-star team from last summer |

Simpsonville is a solid major team we player earlier in the season and they usually play very well.

to me, you need 4 major teams in a given tournament to consider it "major" and you might get 1 or 2 like that in the fall. No need to call out "they" as the names would never get published but how is it possible for any local team to have never entered even a triple crown event?
Some teams are really afraid of playing better teams and challenging the boys. The talent level between AA and the top AAA teams isn't as great as many make it out to be, same goes for majors and AAA. |
