Unfortunately couldn't finish it on the high note you expected. It shouldn't take anything away from the team though. Tremendous season. |

Thanks Frydaddy! You would have been proud of the boys. They gave all they had and represented our State well. We ran into a couple of buzz saws but we knew going in that this one would be one the toughest of the year. We really missed our lead off hitter but we have no excuses and will tip our hats to the winner of this one and I know now why LL wants no part of this format. By far the most brutal pool we have ever been in.

If they had to play this tournament all over again, My Money would still be on the Georgia Bandits, This is a GREAT Team and 1 tournament can't take anything away from that! I have never in my life witness a team put together a season like the Bandits just did.

Thanks Frydaddy and Tony. Tony, you and your team will be missed.
We are very proud of our boys for the season they just completed. It is a disappointment to end the season with two losses but credit needs to be given to the Banditos and MBA for playing well. |

I watched the championship game and can't really say the Banditos won it as much as the Stars lost it. With two outs, up 6-2, 3b dropped an infield hit to put one on. Then the next batter hit a high fly ball into short CF that the SS should have caught. Then it was bad enough they let #32 hit a 3 run homer off of them, to make it 6-5, but there is no way big # 46 should have seen anything he could lift, to tie it 6-6. He should have gotten 4 down and away change-ups. He could hit a grounder, strike out, or take his walk. Once that last HR happened, the game totally shifted.
Oh well, I would have bet all my money on the Bandits taking the tounament strongly.
That's 12U ball for you. That is why I still really love that age. I think it is the last year of the innocence of baseball. |

Dr. Old School: I also loved this 12U season and will count it as one of the best ever but if you had been at some of the ballfields Papa was at and heard some of the things I heard you would think that the parents lost the innocence last year. |

Bandits---Great Season. You guys dominated, and I believe were the best team in the country. I have said it many times....Some in person and some on this site.
Once again, Great Job to a wonderful group of parents, coaches, and kids...grandparents included....
Regards-
