The Coal Mountain Raiders out of Cumming, GA are looking for one more strong player to complete our roster. We will be holding one last workout on Monday 08/8/11 at 7:00PM at Coal Mountain Park.
In 2011 the Raiders have played approximately 55 games during the spring season and we look to build off of that by playing a fall schedule of 3-4 tournaments and some Sunday doubleheaders; working around the football season, and then play in the Lanier League and 7-9 tournaments ending with an out of town tournament (TBD) in late June early July, 2012.
The Raider coaching goal is to continue to develop players to ready them for High School Baseball by continuing to teach the advanced fundamentals of baseball while fielding a competitive team. The Raider family will also volunteer for at least two community events throughout the year.
We are looking for a player that has the attitude and respect to work hard in a great team environment, have a high baseball IQ and travel experience.Strong pitching and the ability to play multiple positions is a plus.
