What happens to the NYBC birth that was given to the Bandits for winning USSSA since they already secured their birth in NABF? Does Team Florida get it?
Also... will the Bandits play as NABF or USSSA?
Good luck at NYBC!! It's a lot of fun and the kids really have a blast. It's a well organized event.
My understanding from reading some posts on another forum is that the Bandits have already accepted the birth to the NYBC as the NABF representative. You cannot accept two and you don't have a choice. It appears that Team Florida will be the representative for USSSA since they finished second at the elite world series. Does anyone else have any different information?
The Bandits will represent the NABF which might not be the best thing for the pool but if we are fortunate to make the bracket play it might be better. When you are dealing with 8 great teams it really doesn't matter where you start.
The NYBC has very little on this tournament other than the dates of the games. Is their a complete list somewhere where it shows simply who the 8 teams are and who plays whom?
Card6: It is as official as official gets. The Bandits will be back at 13U and hope to continue to develop both as players and as a team. The chemistry on this team is unbelievable and their will to win is their greatest asset. We are looking to add 2-3 players and hope that anyone interested will email us so we can work them in for a private work-out.
