Great win for the Chili Dogs winning the Elite 32 Warm Up! Those boys pulled together again...when it mattered. HP has had an awesome season winning 8 out of 11 tournaments!!! Great job boys/coaches. RR gave us great games and hate that one of their players was injured. Hope he heals up quickly and is ok.
Lots of good baseball this weekend. HP and RR's split their 2 games, both match up well should do good in Orlando. Also good job by CBA. Tournment went smooth with not a single delay despite some nasty weather all weekend. Also, hope the injured RR player is ok.
homeplate and roadrunners both looked good & appear to be ready, overheard comments from some alabama folks ....................."what are they feeding them kids in georgia"
Thanks to both the roadrunners and chilidogs for coming to alabama to play. You both have great teams and we enjoyed the great competition. Good luck at elite 32.
It was a good weekend in Birmingham. Thanks to the CBA folks for putting it together. Those games I think are what will hopefully keep our teams ready to play at the Elite 32. It sure is tough finding good teams still playing this time of year. I wish the CBA people could have been able to join us again this weekend. Maybe the Pride will step up to play with the RR and HP this weekend?!?!?!?
Thanks everyone for the concern for our player as well. His nose is broken, but fortunately will not require surgery. Amazingly, he has been cleared to play.
Good Job By Georgia Teams. And CBA did good too just have to find a way to pull it out at the end very close with HPCD 7-5 was 7-1 at one point big kid hit a 3-run bomb to put them back in it. But next day HP handled them well. And also very close with RdRunners 3-1 all runs came off HR's played on very short fields too.
Not sure which team your talking about but Homeplate didnt hit any homeruns and gave up 2 in 5 games...the director said the fence was 280+
