Select should be playing majors next season, it would be nice to see them in the bigger tournaments so we can see what they can do vs. the top teams in the state. No reason to stay at aaa and dominate those teams, jmho. |

It doesn't make any sense.....I think Select will eventually move up, but then next year there will be another team who can beat anybody and will only dominate AAA talent instead of challenging themselves against the best....Happens every year |

Not sure why we can't just say job well done Select and move on. I am sure they will move up or be bumped and be a contender there too. Also looks like the AA team from Select performed well against some major competition in last weeks PCB WS session 2. Got to commend them for going up against some tougher teams. Congrats to Georgia Select!

First of all, good job by the select team in winning the grand slam tournament last month. They have had a good team over the past few years but you never really seen them come and play some of the bigger triple crown or other tournaments with the better teams and I think most are curious how they would do.
As far as the AA team, not sure that I agree with you there buddy. They won a few and lost more with a win coming over the choo choo guys who are under .500 vs. aaa teams so i dont consider them a major team |

Thanks for the kind words about both our 11U teams. As director, I want to address some of the questions/comments.
Myself and the coaches agree with all of you. This upcoming 12U season we plan to play a tougher schedule with both teams. We will be forming stronger teams in both age groups. Our focus is developing players to the next level and we have the best methods and system in place for this (Speed Training, 9K sqft batting facility, paid trainers, more). We have some very good players coming into the program and we will be pushing our AA to AAA and AAA to MAJ.
As to our 11AA team in PCB. They played great. We they knocked a good team out and lost several games by one run. They were a AA team all year and really stepped up. This team will be even stronger next year.
Thank you to all the coaches of both teams for a job well done! See you soon! |

Good job in pcb sward. I was fortunate enough to see the Friday night game, between Select & Shiloh, while waiting on our game to start. Starting pitching was lights out, on both sides. Defense was smooth and #7 for the Select was money. 2 outs, if I remember correctly, bases loaded, down 4-3, last at bat for the Select and #7 hits a 2 bagger to left field that scored 2 runs to take the lead and never looked back. Good for the coaches, the parents and most of all, the players. |

I'll agree on the pitching! First game had LIGHTS OUT starting pitchers. Wow the battle in the 1st game with the starting pitchers was EPIC. Two great games! Great games GA Select.

Hey they beat a very good Homeplate Turner team that beat there AAA red team twice within the month of July, so there is something to think about. As matter of fact they went 3-0 vs Ga teams. |
