The 12U West Cobb Warriors are having our opening tryouts for the 2012 season on July 24th at 2pm at McEachern Methodist Church (4075 Macland Road, Powder Springs, GA). We have a great training regiment set up for our team during the fall and winter with trainers with over 20 years experience.
Our main focus is to develop young athletes into great baseball players. We are looking for major players that are serious about the sport and players with great attitudes who are self-motivated.
If you feel like this is what you are looking for in a team and would like to try out, please give me a call at 404-290-3645 or email me at coachwill@comcast.net.
Thanks,
Coach Will Vining Manager |

The Warriors tryouts for 7/24 has been moved to Kennesaw Mountain High School from 2-4pm.
Again we are looking for serious, committed baseball players with travel ball experience who have great attitudes and are dedicated to improving their skills and developing their knowledge of the game. We plan to compete at a high level in the Spring.
We will practice 2-3 days a week, indoors and/or outdoors depending on the weather from September through early December. After Christmas, we will go to 3 times a week until the season starts. We do plan to compete in tournaments during the Fall. We plan to end our 2012 Spring season in late June or early July.
We will have professional trainers during the Fall and Winter workouts and also at some of our tryouts in the next couple of weeks. We will practice at Kennesaw Mountain High School during the Spring.
Our next scheduled tryouts are July 24th and July 31th from 2-4pm at Kennesaw Mountain High School (1898 Kennesaw Due West Rd NW, Kennesaw, GA 30152).
If you have any questions, feel free to call coach Will Vining at 404-290-3645 or email at coachwill@comcast.net.
Thanks,
Coach Will Manager of West Cobb Warriors

Please try to RSVP via email or phone before coming to the tryouts.
We really try to make our tryouts educational and constructive so that all players who tryout leave with some additional knowledge of the game whether you end up playing with us or not.
My #1 goal as a coach is to do the best I can to teach all players who want to learn all aspects and fundamentals of the game. No matter how good a player is, he can always get better.
Hope to see you Sunday.
Thanks,
Coach Will V.
