What is your baseball heritage?
I called my 74 year old Mother recently, and she said "can't talk now, the Tiger's are are coming back...click", called my brother, "I'm at Mom's house watching the Tigers, can't talk right now."
Next day, call my Dad in Port St Lucie FL, he says smugly "how's Uggla working out for the Braves?'.
My whole family is so dialed in to baseball, and are so intense, I cant even talk to them.
In the off season when my Mother wasn't watching baseball, she'd actually talk to me...about the Brooklyn Dodgers at Ebbett's field, and how they all lived in her neighborhood in Bay Ridge Brooklyn.
I'm a light weight compared to them. How'd you catch this disease?

I had a boy. His father always had a baseball game on or was talking about how long it was before pitchers and catchers reported.
If you can't beat 'em, join 'em! |

Sitting on the sofa next to my PawPaw. Him with his transistor radio up to his ear and eyes closed listening to the Braves and us grandkids better be quiet! Then later seeing the big red machine play the Braves at Fulton County Stadium. |
