With the Elites coming up, when do the teams start picking up players? Is it 3 or 4 extras they can pick up? How does that effect some of the teams? Does the team picking up players pay for all or some of the visiting players expenses? Do you look out of state like some of the other Elite teams?
Thought this would be a great topic with some interesting comments.
I guess it depends on whether a team is looking for a little more depth, to just make it easier getting through all the games, or need some "Real Help" to be able to compete down there.
Let's face it, not every team qualifying has a "top 32" team in the country. For some teams, they really need to do some shmoozing to get some Studs to help them be able to compete. Those teams may have to offer "Transportation" or "Somewhere to stay" to get the help they need.
Other teams just need to add a couple pitchers for added "Insurance". The players are typically just glad to go because they have a chance to be part of the winning team.
