Either Wills Park team or Shiloh Titans should be there in the end. Milton Nationals did beat Shiloh in pool play game today.quote:

| I'm with bballnut...Wills Park. A quick look at yesterdays scores and Shiloh has already lost to Milton Nationals and at the beginning of the season the nats were AA. Select Red already has a loss too to the Jackhammers. |

| Definately Wills Park Titans. Both Wills Park teams are playing good ball this season. Nats have had the ablitity to play with teams like Shiloh all year. Were possibly the underdogs in the Shiloh game but I'm not surprised of the outcome. Don't let the early season AA status fool you. However, I did think Barrett Baseball would have made a little more noise than what I've seen out of them this year. I believe they took a silver bracket championship somewhere but overall I had them winning more than they have. They're a first year team, good training facility and good coaching from what I understand. Should be in more next year. Snazzy little uniforms too. Just my take. |

I agree with about Barrett, they played well early in the season but have not been nearly the same. Another team who has struggled is Smash, they have been getting hit hard. |

| Good job Select, I see you were correct in your prediction!!....Every year around June new teams step up, I for one would love to see you guys enter a tourney like USSSA major state where there are probably 8 teams that have a legit shot at winning. |

| Georgia Select Red!! Guess Shiloh ain't the only game in Gwinnett County. My son went to the facility that all of the select teams train at and they do a good job over there. |

Warriors played Ga Select 3 times yesterday. Winning the winners bracket game 6-5. In the 1st championship game we had the lead going in to the top of the 6th....6-5. Way too many base running mistakes....an error and a HR in the top of the 6th. 7-6 bottom of the 6th. Single and a non executed bunt, runner picked off 1st. Final 7-6.
2nd game we jumped out and took 2-0 lead. But that was where it ended for us.
Congrats to Ga Select. We have played 60+ games this year and I have not seen bats like this team has....all the way threw the lineup. The ball flew off of their bats!!!!!
We had a nice run beating Shiloh 10-4, Smash 8-0 and GA Select 6-5 before playing in the ship.
Only problem with tournament was no scoreboards.....come on Sawnee Mountain, we paid almost $700 and no scoreboards.

| This was an excellent tournament. A lot of great teams. I liked the Dirt Bags to do better than they did. It doesn't surprise me about Georgia Select because they did really well at ECB a few weeks back. |

Technically they are in Walton County... But yes, Scott Ward and his crew are doing a good job at Ga Sports Academy. They have several good coaches over there and are good people. |

We play with Ga Select Red and had a great tournamnet this weekend in Cumming. Played some very good teams and had a ton of fun. Wills Park Titans and Wills Park Warriors were very competitive and parents were great! Thanks for all the props on the board.
Really would like to see some scoreboards in a state event though!
One more tourney then on to Panama City |
