Skeeterbite, who you pullin for? That way I'll keep a eye out for you.

Games I'm looking forward to seeing...RoadRunners vs G. Titans, Cyclones vs S.S.Blue, 45's vs TGBA, EC Titans vs Stixx.

Boy is it going to be HOT!! And long days with double elimination play.

Too balanced a field for any clear cut favorites. A lot of these teams have already won some big tournaments and have the taste for "blood". Team with the most pitchers will win this one.
The way I see it is you can lose one, maybe both pool play games(as long as you keep it a close score) and save your pitching for Saturday. Seeding don't mean too much(as long as your not the bottom 6 teams).
Win...2-3 games Saturday. 2-3 on Sunday.
If you lose up to 9-10 games over a Sat/Sun.
Pitching rules...7 innings plus 1 inning for each game over 5. That could mean an additional 4-5 innings if you have to work your way back up through the losers bracket.
Should be fun!

I'm pulling for Elite Gamers in this one. Played some great ball this year, this may be the tourney. They have the pitching depth. What do u think Tony?? Yes it will be a hot one

Nice to keep that dark horse team anonymous. That way no one can point out that you got the prediction wrong...

Or...if ANY dark horse team wins, you can claim it was yours...

Very crafty.

Smoke this could be it for the 45's. And Darnell had abundance of rest this last week.
He will be fine. But if I was you I would back off on the CLEAR FAVORITES TO WIN THIS TOURNAMENT statement. It is not working!!! Let’s keep running with the having Fun theme….
Good Luck 45's....

The loudest fans are taking a couple of weeks off....the baseball field that is. While I'm happy to report all are doing fine, it seems they were traumatized by a typhoon in OB last week and need a little time for recovery. We were really looking forward to seeing them at the King of the Hill next week but guess we'll have to wait awhile. God Speed my friends and in the mean time....SWING BATTER!!

Looking at the seedings after pool games, Roadrunners, Elite Gamers, Stixx and 45's are all in there. Do we see a champion in those?

Barn burner in Sharon Springs tonight. Elite Gamers win in extra innings over Sharon Springs. Sharon Springs burned their ace tonight...pitched 7 innings and his relief couldn't keep the Gamers off the bases in the eighth. Final score 4-3.
Great game that could have went either way. I was surprised Sharon Springs didn't switch pitchers and save this young mans arm. He must have throw well over 120 pitches in this one.
Word from the other parks is that Roadrunners and Stixx both won big. They were playing on the little fields at Midway Park(270ft. and 280-290ft fields). I bet they blistered the outfield fences over there.

Gamers are up there taking care of business. They are by far the most improved team since the beginning of the season. Keep it up!

Wanted to extend a personal congratulations to the Georgia Roadrunners in winning this tournament this weekend. Definitely a class team with class coaches. We were forunate to beat them in the winners bracket final, but fell behind quickly and couldn't recover in the title game. Proud of my team and how they played all weekend long. We finally showed what we are capable of and hopefully bring a little more respect to the "southside" with our HP friends down the road. BTW, does anyone know if the ball "Jam" hit has landed yet? I thought I saw it on 400 on the drive home, but wasn't quite sure. Wow. :)

Couldn't actually find the ball, but the captain of Endeavour did say that during re-entry today that something white and round(well flat on one side) hit off their windshield...they really weren't sure exactly what it was...hahaha....You all have a very good team as well and we look forward to playing you all every year. I am sure we will meet again this year. Absolutely one of the most improved teams from last year. Great bunch of kids and coaches....
