Great game that could have went either way. I was surprised Sharon Springs didn't switch pitchers and save this young mans arm. He must have throw well over 120 pitches in this one.
Word from the other parks is that Roadrunners and Stixx both won big. They were playing on the little fields at Midway Park(270ft. and 280-290ft fields). I bet they blistered the outfield fences over there.

It was a great game between Sharon Springs and The Gamers. Just so you know, The young man actually pitched 89 pitches. How many pitches do you feel is a sufficient amount?

I was almost right with the Gamers, followed them all weekend. You know not enough is said unless you win of course, but I watched the Gamers play Renegades and the pitcher for the Renegades held them to 3 runs that game. I got to say heck of a job to hold those bats to 3 runs. So cudos to thay guy (cant remember his # ) 12 I think. Pitched whole game in that heat. But Gamers are a team to reckon with, maybe next tourney. Congrads to RR for winning it.

Are counting the extra inning he had behind the plate?

89 pitches for 7 innings is spectacular but to then put him in full catchers gear for 30-40 pitches????
I don't know the dynamics of your team but the child that was catching the first 7 innings was very good. Again, not knowing the pitching depth or catching depth of any team but ours, my observations are of a spectator/parent.

Good luck with the rest of the season. You have a good team.

The Gamers have improved a great deal, and continue to get better all the time. They played a great tournament and I congratulate them.

Thanks to Tony and the TC people who made this a very good event. The double elimination format is always a fun/exhausting tournament. MAN IT WAS HOT!

Good games all around this weekend! Both .45's vs Stixx games came down to the wire. The SS vs Gamers game sounds like it was a great game as well. The Stixx vs Roadrunners were both GREAT games! The Gamers and Roadrunners were contrasts of each other, but good games none the less. I'm sure I am missing a few, but those are the ones I am aware of.

I couldn't be more proud of our team!
