The way the tourney is done (at least in the Elite division - I assume its the same for both) there is no pool winner... You don't play every team in your pool (and in fact some teams in the Elite division are playing across pools) so seedings are just based on all teams together... don't really know why there are officially pools listed at all, really. |

You are correct! Sorry to Hopewell and Cherokee!

I believe AA for all. We are anyways.. (Acworth Orange)

Teams will play two pool games then be seeded into a single elimination bracket. The tournament championship game for both divisions will be played on Sunday. In case of ties after pool play, the following system will be utilized to determine seeding in this order: team record including ties, head to head outcome (*NOTE if there are more than 2 teams tied the head to head will be dropped); fewest runs allowed; run differential (7 max per game); total runs scored.
There has to be a pool winner so to speak as they would be seeded A1 or B1 all the way through A5 or B5.. Good luck to all! |

NWGA dad... I see now that the travel division does have the pool seeding, our elite division does not, they are just doing 1-15. |

Hawks did win big in the end but it was all in one inning. It was tied 2-2 til they put up 10 in the 3rd for a run rule. |

To catch up on the progress of all 25 teams, here's the best link: http://www.hopewellbaseball.org/#150584
Looks like 15 AAA Teams in the Elite Division and 10 AA teams in the Travel division.
