Almost halfway point in the season, give me your biggest surprises in each classification:
Majors - This one was tough but I have to go with Stealth, always been there but now they are the #1 team in the state. Pitching and defense have been impressive.
AAA - Patriot Baseball, first year team has started to pull in some nice wins. Need to finish off a tournament for win.
AA - West Cobb Warriors, have a few signature wins under their belt. Now can they do it more consistently?
Majors- Stealth are the real deal and they can bomb it. Long Horns are really good. Braves are on the way back and will be chomping at the bit to get that top spot back.
AAA- Mid GA Moccs. They have several wins against some good teams and won the aaa SUP NIT.... Home Plate will win their share.... Macon Cardinals back to AAA and struggling. N.G. BullDawgs can hit....
Agree with bb4life. Stealth is the real deal. The Braves are stil top notch, but IMO stealth would have to go to sleep at the wheel to lose top spot. Don't know what they've done from last year to this year but they are running like a well oiled machine. Pitching remains key. EC Rays and Longhorns will still challenge them both.
Patriots seem to be building a solid team. Some nice surprises and a good start for a first year team. Time will tell. Bandit is a sleeper. They could surprise, especially when they get the bats going.
Middle GA Mocs are holding true to their game. It will be interesting to see how they finish out the season. Wouldn't be surprised to see a move.
I don't think there has been to many surprises. I think there are teams that are underachieving with the pickups they got. I guess the grass is not always greener on the other side!
I think to many coaches try to get better players and don't coach up the ones they have. That is why these teams don't get better they have managers not coaches. Just my opinion.

Some teams that made additions got much better tho.....It goes both ways
