Really havn't seen many play since we are just getting the boys together after middle school. I think it will be a little while before everyone is playing consistantly.

I agree it's hard to wrap your arms around this one because there are so many teams spread all over the place. Here's my top five based on what I've seen and heard thus far.

1. DSB Diablos - the team that no one is talking about, but trust me these boys can play!! They pobably should be majors, but hey that's JMHO.
2. Stealth
3. Gwinnett Titans
4. Bullets
5. Team Wilson

Hard to tell how you can rank AAA when some AAA teams play Majors most of the time.

All I have to say about the AA tournament this weekend in Conyers is that there were 2, maybe 3, teams that could beat any AAA team that I have seen easily.

Maybe some AAA teams, but not all of them. Our AA team plays AAA teams regularly and I would say the biggest difference is pitching depth. A lot of the better AA teams can easily play AAA ball and should if they want to get better.

sometimes the only differences can be the errors. He who has less errors wins

I don't disagree with you about pitching depth, but my point is the teams that I saw should not be playing in a AA tournament, and will probably be major teams before the season is over (assuming they have the same players). If you run into the Jackson County Force, Grayson Rams, or the Xrossroads Xpress let me know what you think.

I totally agree that there are teams that are not playing in the correct division. We played in the AA Super NIT and the team that won was moved to AAA within days. It was obvious that they were playing down to everyone. We've also played in some mixed AA/AAA non USSSA tournaments and have found that some of the AAA teams are really AA teams and vice versa. Our coach is pretty good at picking tournaments that challenge us. We played some of our best games this weekend that were nail-biting losses(extra inning) but they were against some higher ranked AAA teams and we are AA, so it's a victory for us. And yes, itsaboutbb, we FINALLY played with no errors, which did make a huge difference.

It looks like Grayson is playing AAA. The other two teams you mentioned have put up extremely high scores against some good teams and I would agree at this point they should be playing AAA. If you feel that a team is not classified correctly write an email to the USSSA office or Bubba requesting them to evaluate the team for proper classification.

Grayson Ram's are a strong AAA Team...They played real strong at EC last week against some of the top major teams. Great Coaching!!

Top AAA teams that I've actually seen play in 2011
SFCB Renegades
Team GA Academy
Team Wilson
(not in any order) All three teams have a solid group of players and coaches

It's Rams Baseball which is different than Grayson Rams...very good team depending on the day.

We'll likely run into Xrossroads Xpress next weekend. Unsure why they haven't been bumped to AAA or higher yet but looking forward to that challenge if it presents itself.

Come on Chris you have to get away from Monroe once in awhile. Great Park as I might say so myself.
