I do not think it is right for a TD to change the class to fit the rules of USSSA. This is the second time this has happens in 11AA. The TD change the AA to open to meet guidelines playing rule of a major team playing up. I don't this is right to change the class the week of the tournament after all teams have paid to meet the rules.
Just make all the tournaments open if you are going to lie to us and then change the class so you can make more money.
Seems to be happening alot. play by the rules or change the rule. As I have stated before, it may be ok this time with the teams but what about the next time. In this case I really dont see the reasoning on the TD's part, because they are also having a AAA tournament at the same park. Unless the major team wouldnt sign up unless they play AA. In that case there are enough teams for a good tournament w/o them.
