Hi Gramps, not sure I agree with ya. Everyone WANTS to win, but only one can - doesn't mean your last because thats why they keep score in all the games.
This topic sure has taken a few turn(s) away from the NC Super NIT!
The kids are 11U and they need to learn, improve, & develop their skills against good competition (both individually and as a team) to prepare for next year/years. A handful of teams win the ship across tournaments, but lots of teams grow when they step up in competition and win against the bigger teams out there. However, I do have to say that winning consistantly sure beats losing any day of the week!
Thats what makes travel ball so great - with so many teams you surely can find a team that matches what your are looking for your child and family. |
