Here you go boys. Let her rip with projections, trash talking, and everything else that goes on here. We are playing there, so it will be interesting to see how everyone analyzes it prior to the start. Weather is looking a little tricky early in the weekend, but the Cherry Park complex in Rock Hill is very nice, and well maintained, so I expect it will be OK. Here is the link to the NC USSSA site for the tournament.

OBXBlue, we are looking forward to playing in Charlotte. I can assure you that no one on our team is going to bash the Dirtbags, Canes or any other team in this tournament. Most, if not all, of them are capable of sending the Bandits home early. We have a few injuries from this past weekend that we need to nurse back to health but hopefully we will be at full strength by Friday. Best of luck to all of the teams participating. |

looks like the weather forecast isn't too bad, earlier it said 60% of rain on Sat but it's now listed at 20%. |

It ought to be an epic battle with most of the greatest teams so far this season! Can't wait to tune in! Good luck Papa and Bandit Hawk.
I'll take the Bandits and Dirtbags (without seeing brackets)in the ship with the Bandits winning it all!
Go Georgia! |

I meant no disrespect to anyone in my post, but wanted to get some talk started.
We have no realistic hope of winning this thing, but we do hope to have a good showing, and play some new teams. The 3 teams mentioned in this post are the ones I expect to finish 1-2-3. The wild card in my opinion is the Richmond Braves, which I have not seen play this year. Apparently, they have combined 2 pretty good teams. Probably not enough though. The Baysox have a couple of Canes listed on their roster, so I guess it depends on who they play with this weekend. If they play with the Baysox, they could surprise someone. But honestly, at this level, one bad inning, and it could be over quickly. All these teams have big hitters, and solid pitching. I would expect the fences to be set to 250 or so, which will limit a lot of teams, but open up doubles and triples for the fast ones. Ought to be fun for sure. |

The Richmond Braves are simply excited to have the opportunity to compete against teams that are setting the standards for both baseball skills and class on the 12U national stage. I'm looking for our boys to bring their "A"-game and leave it all on the field. If they do that, we will be big winners because we beleive that competing against first-class talented programs like the Bandits and the Dirtbags will provide more development and coaching then we ever could. Good Luck and Safe travels to all teams headed to Charlotte. We look forward to meeting you! |

LOL !! There is no way the Bandits can win every SNIT they play. There are too many other good teams entered in these tournaments. We just want to challenge our players and let them achieve whatever they are capable of achieving. |

Brackets are out. Bandits get the Carolina Hitmen and Predators for pool play. It's going to be a lot of fun playing some fresh faces that we know absolutely nothing about. Bracket play starts at 8:00 PM on Saturday if there are no rain delays. I don't know about the Bandits but Papa is ready to play tonight. |

Why would you need to trash talk a team with a name like the Dirt Bags! Those @#$% Dirt Bags :-) Do you guys still have those cool looking I think it was blue camo uniforms that you wore at the Battle of the South in TN last year at 11U. |

Thanks S18: The Bandits will be trying to join you guys at the top of the heap although I am afraid that we have a long road to go. No matter what happens this should be just what the Doctor ordered for us to get better prepared for what lies ahead. You and them Bomberz keep bombing and making Georgia proud. I have to admit that it has crossed my mind that Georgia could be #1 at 11U and 12U at the same time and I know that it has been a long time since something like this was even possible. A lot of hard work to finish before we get there but its good to have a goal and a purpose in anything that you are attempting. |

I have not seen the blue ones this year. Now they are purple. I think it is the skull and crossbone hats that are cool though. I have a sneaking suspicion that the schedules are going to change dramatically because of the weather. Stand by....

Are the Bandits still coming if it gets pushed back to one day only like is being rumored? A lot of teams can't play Friday night it looks like. And Saturday is looking very wet. Maybe a late afternoon start with 1 pool game. That would be better than nothing. |

You would have thought that the tourney director would have done a much better job updating the site with results and a bracket. I couldn't follow anything from their website. Was there some other place you guys were able to get the information? SNIT is a pretty big deal for USSSA so I would have thought they would have made more of an effort! |

Well it work a little different than most USSSA sites. You have to go to the NC USSSA site then go under tournaments and select Charlotte Super NIT, then select 12U Elite Pool Play Posted and Final. The national USSSA website wasn't being updated as quickly.
I guess everyone has to be different |

Got to see the Bandits play for the first time this weekend, and without a doubt, they are the best 12 year old team in the country. I just had someone call me and tell me that they no hit the Dirtbags, and had 17 strikeouts to boot. On kid made contact, and it was a fly ball. WOW!!! if that is true. That lineup can hit it. Congratulations on the championship. |
