What a great weekend of 9u baseball! The Acworth Warriors took home the title, besting my son's WF Diamond Dawgs 11-9 in the 'ship. Great game between two very good, though exhausted, teams! We saw a ton of superb baseball over the weekend! The Cyclones & Rangers from TN showed well. The Buzz were everything I had expected. Man, they're huge! The Renegades are tough, making it to the semi's before losing to the Warriors. The Dawgs edged the Buzz 10-9 in the other semi matchup.

There's a lot of talent in this age group! Should be a great year!

An all GA FINAL FOUR? Nice job! I heard that the Acworth team isn't the biggest out there, but might be the scrappiest bunch of 9u boys around. Congrats to their coaches and players.

Great tournament! We, Dallas Tigers, only came away with one win but the kids had a great time playing some great competition. As stated above there is a lot of talent in this age group and we hope our kids will continue to grow and compete. I also have to say that with all the horror stories about travel ball teams I saw a lot of classy teams and organizations. Looking forward to seeing all teams again!

Buck, that was a great weekend for anyone who likes baseball. How about those fields? It was nice having the boys play off of real mounds and on well groomed grass infields. Congradulations on the Dawgz strong showing, your boys can really hit and play with spirit. Good luck and see you on the diamond (bleachers anyway).

Loved that park! Though that was a nasty lip on the grass! Thanks for the compliments. We try to have the boys play hard but keep things in perspective. We are a little loud, though!

Many well coached teams at this event. Lots of talent also. This was our(Cyclones) first tourney of the year as I am sure it was for several. It was nice to see so many high quality teams playing in Dalton.

And I second Harp in regard to the classy atmosphere by all. Lots of good baseball to be played in this age group.

Congrats to Acworth...and great showing by WF Diamond Dawgs.
