There's always a debate this time of year for 7u and 8u coaches about whether to do Coach Pitch or Kid Pitch, well I'm not starting that debate now, although it's a good one.
I'm just interested to know when the CP teams plan to transition over to KP and what's your rationale for the timing?
As far as the switch, this is the last year where the boys can really have fun hitting the ball. We may play some kid pitch after the season is over with or may try to find a Coach/Kid pitch tournament. No big rush to switch. Once CP is gone it's gone forever lol...
We are currently playing CP and plan to switch to KP in early April. Our team needed the defensive work that CP offers. Our players have really enjoyed CP, but are ready to make the transition to KP and look forward to the challenge.
