Sorry Shut Out
I just ran across this when looking for the Major rankings site on league lineup and had not seen it yet so thought others might be interested. I don't have any info on contacting the host.

If a couple of pieces fall into place, they will quickly top this list.

That is an interesting list. I can't wait until the Spring to see if any other teams earn a spot on this prestigious list.

For those of you that dont know, 12u Rankngs is just one guy. He may ask his friends for input, but in the end its just his opinion. It's no different than anyone else on this board giving their opinion on who the top teams are. Not that there is anything wrong with this, but let's make sure everyone knows what that board is about.

Of course it is opinion any list like that is an opinion. I assume everybody would know that. I always thought the ranking were just to give youth baseball fans something to talk about.

@ pnut--There is a 12u rankings that is major and as this link speaks of AAA. Just like so many post on here it is just an opinion. Whether it's one person or 20, who cares. That's all these forums are made of, opinions. This is just another one to visit and talk about some of the teams that don't get much talk time on here! ENJOY!!

Nice list. All solid teams. But keep an eye on the Ga. Raptors from Cumming. Great coaching, solid core of players that have been together since 9's and they added a couple of real nice pieces. This team has been lurking in the shadows the last couple of years but this is their time to shine.

I agree about the Raptors. Plus, I think there will be several Forsyth County teams making noise at the AAA level in 12u. There's too much dilution in Forsyth to crack the top 10 Major teams, but I see 11-20 being chock full of Forsyth teams.

Don't know what all team moves have been made since this fall...but I would think the WF Diamond Dawgs should be in the top 3 or top 5 based off what I saw this fall. Sharon Springs Black should be in the top 3 as is as well as the Elite Gamers Black. I also think a few GGBL teams not ranked will make some noise in the Spring like Grayson, Hebron, etc. Also like some other said a few Lanier League / Forsyth county teams like the Raptors are too good not to be listed. The AA Georgia Dirt Dawgz Red looked good this fall as well beating some really good teams including some on this list.

All due respect Bandit_Hawk, Ga Select Red, SS Black, Chain Dirt Dawgs, and Midway have too many W's under their belt, and are too tourney tough for me to put Mill Creek Red in front of them no matter who they picked up. They have to show me something first.

Moser I hope the DirtDawgs can help you get in Bandit Hawks wallet. After losing our core last year to the Georgia Elite we took some knocks last year. Glad to say that all our players are returning and we have have added to kids that will fit in the top and middle of our order that play great defense. We have a roster of 13 dedicated players and families and should be back to being one of the top AAA teams in Georgia. Doing Cooperstown this year so we will be looking to start playing as soon as the weather breaks. Have one question, are the good AAA teams playing in the upper or lower division of the Slugfest. Always liked that tournament to see where we matched up for the year. Moser save me the doggie bag from your lunch.

First Merry X-Mas all!!! As for the Chain Dirtdawgs being AAA...Dont think so. This team is flying under the radar and IMHO is a Mid level Major team. This team beat 2 Major teams in the last tournament I saw them in back to back in bracket play and this tournament had a good field of teams. Anyone who says they are AAA has been drinking too much of the eggnog LOL

Im not Usssa/Bubba but I would suspect the Dirtdawgs would be moved up to Major this spring based on the formula for re-clasification in Georgia.

Bandit_Hawk I appreciate your confidence. Yes, we have added some players and on paper should be fine to compete. We all know how the paper factor works... Believe it or not, they are still 12 years old and depending on what team shows up in any given tournament, we will do our best. I would think we will go into the Slugfest playing at the lower division. This will be our first tournament as a team and I think we need to work out all the winter bugs before going head to head with you big boys. We are looking forward to mxing it up with all these teams as I agree some of the best baseball in the country can be found right here in Georgia. Everyone have a GREAT New Years and we will see you at the park.

Guess that AAA tournament will have to wait. Looks like Georgia Usssa moved the Dirtdawgs up to the Major Division. The reclassification report for 2011 is out.

As of today, the NCAA Football rankings are 5 out 9 in accuracy in predicting this years Bowl Season winners. I realize some teams look at Bowl games as organized scrimmages, but geez, you'd think the rankings would hold up better than that.

Are we fooling ourselves thinking we can rank youth baseball teams?

B-T-W, I've had some e-mails and read some posts since the re-class report came out claiming some teams are not Majors. But when I replied "do you think they are in the top 26 teams?" I got no response or "well...yeh, I guess they're top 26".

If you see a team in the top 26, then they are now Major. USSSA expanded the size of this class. If I recall, last year there were only 13-16 Majors, but now it's 26 (both #'s include disbanded teams). If you are using the term "Majors", but do not mean top 26, please let us know your definition so we can get onto the same page.

The new AAA Rankings look like they were updated since the Reclassifications by USSSA .I think it is really hard to rank the AAA teams as any given day with their aces on the hill anyone of several could be at the top. Its gonna be alot of fun following 12 U this year.

I thought this would be a great topic to dust off. Right now, Bandit_Hawk is looking like Nostradamas, but how was I to know that USSSA would bump up all my picks to Majors? I was right about Forsyth County teams, 3 are in the top 20.

Nobody had OTC Bearcats that I recall.

We still need to mix up the South Metro, North Metro, Cobb County, and rural GA teams before we decide. We also could have a AA team break in to the top 20, and a Major team could drop down.

I think only 6 or so Majors are totally safe from the top AAA's.
