| What in the world did we ever do before travel ball?????????? All this time on my hands during the off season is driving me crazy!! I've begun kicking the dog and cat at least twice a day. For 8 to 9 months of the year we are wide open and now our weekends are on cruise control, it's amazing how we become conditioned. :) |

That's why I am SOOOO glad my sons play other sports.. We don't have to sit till spring to play we are still going wide open |

| Check out all the camps available locally & at area colleges. My son is doing 3 two day camps & a month long evening hitting clinic. By the time the holidays are over we'll be conditioning for spring. Be here before ya know it. |

| We're still at the ball park on weekends. The boys want to get some reps in instead of moms to-do list. I can't blame them, I would rather be pitching batting practice then pulling wall paper off and priming them for painting. But we all know that we have to get caught up the chores now if we want to go play in the spring. (Plus I can get to the woods every now and again if I'm lucky). |

| Have a Quality Family life! Love travel ball, but there are more things to life than sports. Check it out! There are things to do out there in this wonderful city. Community work keeps the boys humble and they get to raise money and bond with the other families at the same time. Wouldn't trade Travel Ball but love the little down time we have. Smell the State guys! Good Luck everyone this coming spring! |

| I guess thats why guys are guys lol.. Without sports there would be no need for guys lol.. Thats why sports were invented to guys could go hang out with guys...Love my family, but most famly life wouldn't be the same WITHOUT sports. And yes there are more things in life than sports, but most are not better than sports. Take sports away and what would most kids be doing? Nothing or in trouble. So I will take sports every month of the year. They will get down tiem when they are grown, and what will their kids be doing SPORTS.... |

| Sounds like you guys need to find better programs. Our team is coming off Fall tournaments and now practicing (field time when the weather allows and we have our own full sized facility) and focusing on all aspects of the game. Its a 3-4 day a week thing till spring. |

| dmb350-That is way too much baseball!! These boys need to shut their arms down for a while before the spring! I am all for a short fall season, but time to shut down at the end of October. Not to mention play another sport or just hang out with friends and family. |
