#1 seed OP Sharks won the championship over the #3 seed N GA Renegades, 10-2 in 5 innings. The Renegades had some big arms and had a kid throwing in the low to mid 50's. But, the OP bats, pitching and defense were too strong on this day.
Kudos to the 8yo Atlanta Angels team who beat the N GA Renegades in pool play and were the 2nd seed going into bracket play. The Renegades got their revenge in the semis, 9-2. Looks like in the 8yo division, everyone is playing for second behind the Angels. Very well coached team with some tremendous athletes.
