With invitation's just going out this past Wednesday for the Battle of the Best Nit in Gulf Shores/Orange Beach for Memorial Day (May 28-30). The response has been great and teams are already jumping on board for what is going to be one of the "must play" tournaments of the year. Just hoping that in each age group you are leaving 1-3 spots open for those major teams that emerge over the course of the spring tournament schedule who would merit consideration... Clearly there will be some very strong teams from each age division rise up and be recognized at top five teams at every level.... Clearly there will be some 12U major teams that rocked last year who fail to live up to expectations....
Lefty: Great point and thanks for bringing it up. Invitation's that have went out thus far are based on last years points/power rankings as that is all i had to go by. However, your right and i do know that there are some teams out there that i may be missing on. So with that in mind "coach's", if your team is one of those teams I NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU!!! I don't want any team from any state to get left out of what is going to be one of the top events in the Southeast. I want all teams to be able to plan for this as it may be hard to put together on short notice.
