Fans, Fall ball is now in full swing and we have another nice collection of teams playing next weekend in the TC Fall Classic. Quiet frankly, I see this one as up for grabs if the list holds true.
In my crystal ball, I see the EC Yankees vs. NG Bulldogs.
11 AND UNDER DIVISION: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. BUCKHEAD SAND GNATS--BUCKHEAD, GA 2. ADVANCED SPORTS ACADEMY JACKHAMMERS--ADAIRSVILLE, GA 3. NORTH GWINNETT BULLDOGS--SUWANEE, GA 4. EAST COBB YANKEES--MARIETTA, GA 5. sfcb barrett baseball--cumming, ga 6. atlanta blue jays--atlanta, ga 7. south georgia tazers--hazelhurst, ga 8. 6-4-3 dp jaguars--marietta, ga 9. east cobb diamondbacks--marietta, ga 10. 11. 12. |

I agree insider.....I think NG is pretty strong, I was extremely impressed with Barrett this weekend. They battled all game and never gave up. The first time we played them this fall I didn't know if they would be as strong as they played this weekend. I'm not thinking any team will run away with it but it wouldn't surprise me. |

This is going to be a good tournament, I hear the Rays & Outlaws are taking the weekend off so there is no clear cut favorite. One team that could surprise are the Diamondbacks, they have an ex-brave/stars player who can dominate most of these other teams on the mound.
It'll be interesting to see how this shakes out, the Yanks added a couple of very good players but still have some question marks since they are short a couple of players. |

Like Lee Corso would say, "not so fast my friend" the EC Titans have entered this tournament and to me, they are the team to beat!! Let's go Titans lets go! Let's go Titans lets go! |

We're getting close to the deadline and these should be the final team playing. At the end of the day, you'll see the EC Titans vs. EC Yankees in the ship. I had the Titans as the favorite earlier this week but a Yanks fan told me they have beaten them twice in a row. So, with that in mind the Yanks edge the Titans to extend their winning streak.
1. BUCKHEAD SAND GNATS--BUCKHEAD, GA 2. ADVANCED SPORTS ACADEMY JACKHAMMERS--ADAIRSVILLE, GA 3. NORTH GWINNETT BULLDOGS--SUWANEE, GA 4. EAST COBB YANKEES--MARIETTA, GA 5. SFCB BARRETT BASEBALL--CUMMING, GA 6. EAST COBB DIAMONDBACKS--MARIETTA, GA 7. TAZERS--HAZELHURST, GA 8. east cobb titans--marietta, ga |

Add the South Gwinnett Titans to the mix, this isn't the old Shiloh team is it? |

SG Titans different team from Shiloh. South Gwinnett will have two teams 11U teams this coming Spring. I think they are both AA teams playing a GGBL schedule. |

Here is the list as of this morning, perhaps the Rays are going to play since their name is still listed but haven't paid yet. This is actually shaping up to be a nice field of teams, if the Rays are indeed in it then I like them to win it as a slight favorite. Many of the EC teams are playing for the first time this fall with their new rosters, should be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

Barrett won this going away 14 to 4. Titans did not look that strong or barrett looked great. Barret was hitting the ball very well |

Barrett with a big win, impressive beating a decent Titans team. How about that team from Adairsville, they have the longest name I've ever heard and here it is for you: Advanced Sports Academy Jackhammers!!
Anyway, big win for this new start up when they beat the Rays in a tight 8-7 ball game. Too bad they then went out and got beat by the Tazer handily, need to learn to play hard every game.
Too bad this tournament couldn't of been played, there were some good match ups to be played. So, did the Tazer win since they were the #1 seed??? |

There were no winners for this tournament. Pool seeding shouldn't be the deciding factor in this situation, especially since no bracket games were played. |

You got me on this one, the titans are known as a defensive team. Very similar style to a National League team, low scoring and will need to manufacture runs as there is not much threat of a home run. |

Major level Defensive team gives up over 20 runs vs aa talent. Should be interesting to watch this year. Or do some of these aa reams need to play major |

IIRC, this might have been that teams first game this year but it shouldn't take anything away from Barrett as they came out swinging the sticks. Like the old analogy goes, "on any given day, anybody can beat anybody" and to me this wasn't that big of an upset since Barrett is a solid AAA team. |

Who said Barrett was a AA team???? I think after playing against them twice this fall and watching 3 other games they are at least an upper level AAA team, in my opinion they are as good as the Gwinnett teams and will more than likely upset a couple major teams during the course of this season.....
Tuffy are you with Barrett?? |

We've played Barret twice and the last game was in bracket play and that one went into extra innings with my team winning on a walk off walk, so they can play some ball. |

If I am not mistaken Barret has several players who played with EC stars last year. I checked out their roster on nations at an earlier tournament and crossed it with the previous usssa roster. They are definitely a very good AAA team and could play major. |

Looking at the Barrett Roster...looks like there are at least 2 kids who played on the other SFCB team (Rangers) last year and I think they are still with that team for next year...at least until they play with Barrett and get comfortable with them... then who knows? These are kids who don't play football (most on the Rangers do so they don't do fall ball) |
