All 5 of these teams could easily play AAA.
The copperheads are listed AA and are considerably much better then the 5 listed and the Walnut Grove Bulldogs are not far behind if they stay together. |

That might be the key to building depth at the AAA level, some of these teams are capable of playing AAA and perhaps they will in 2011. If you look at the 2010 AA rankings, these teams have been competitive with mid-level AAA teams so if they've improved their teams then they should be able to.

Valid point but they beat us in our first ever USSSA tournament as a travel ball team (we didn't play travel last year) and we went on to win 2 tourneys that had teams from your list that did not make the championship game. Just as a side note for the Sharks to be proud of as far as talent development, 2 of the boys on your number one team played for the Sharks at 9U All-Stars. |

That's a solid list.
The Bulldogs and Copperhead look very good, and have to be strongly considered. I wonder if they'll stay at AA though. It's just hard to tell in the Fall because so many changes happen from now to the Spring, due to football and other conflicts.
As for the Vipers... In Cooperstown, the Decatur Vipers beat 2 AAA teams (one from Tennessee and one from Indiana), and one Majors Team (Auburn Slammers), and made it to the sweet 16 of the tournament. The Vipers also played the California USSSA Majors Champ, San Diego Stars North, who reached the finals at Cooperstown (holding the Stars scoreless for the final 4 innings of the game). The #1 power rated Majors team in the USSSA, the Miami Brawlers, knocked the Vipers out of the tourney @ Cooperstown. This Fall, the Vipers picked up a couple of 12U players and are playing 12U: http://teams.nations-baseball.com/15233/6
The Oregon Park Sharks beat some pretty strong AA teams (GPA Hooks, Diamond Bears), and should probably be considered, especially due to their power rating.

Vipers are solid and should be playing AAA ball, many of these teams will step up and play AAA next season. |

I have to agree with MOCCS that the Copperheads are stronger than the 5 teams listed. I cant see them staying in AA when they can easily compete with AAA teams. |

There must be two copperheads that play 11u aa because there was a copperheads team in Cordele this weekend also - which is the team that cards fan is referring to.

Two different teams. The one in Cordele was the team I was talking about. They are a very solid AAA team. The Macon Cardinals won a tournament over the Copperheads to revenge a previous loss a few weeks ago.The Sandlot(usssa major)and Vortex were also very competitive. |
