At what point in the fall is it ok to play in tournaments as a pick up player checking out teams for the following spring?
If a player is frozen to a roster in April, does he have to do anything to legally play in a tournament with a different team in say September? |

In USSSA, the season offically ends August 1st. Just about anything goes after August 1st. Fall tourneys are much more relaxed about roster rules.

I believe most organizations (example USSSA) end their roster season a the end July or August then the 2011 season begins in September. |
