Great story as Coastal Carolina wins the College World Series. Nice to see a team from a smaller conference have a run like they did.
They played 5 elimination games during the CWS. |

We just got back from our Omaha trip and we went to the second game.......What a great atmosphere we got to enjoy.
Most folks seemed to be rooting for Coastal(of course our team was), but it was a battle by both teams, momentum swings that were unparalleled.
You may not have seen on TV a few of the hugs and special moments shared by the players and coaches. I assure you it was a very special time for all of the men on the field and in the dugout!

Loved the CWS this year!! And I agree Stan. Nice to see a mid level D1 program win it over all the giants!! Great final series with the two teams taking it to a game 3, winner take all contest. The other story others may not know about is Arizona was picked to finish 9th in pre-season polls. Not 9th in the country, 9th in the PAC 12!! Battle between the underdogs. Loved it!! |
