I have seen most, not all, but most high school teams running sprints as a team after the game. They do it win or lose and home or away. What is the point of this? Just curious. |

A baseball team wins on it's legs. I won't argue the inability to teach... but maybe this one they get right. |

For the pitchers, it's to get the blood flowing to move any toxins in the arm out. Major Leaguers will usually be on a stationary bike after they pitch and run the next day. I would guess for the team as a whole, it is for conditioning and to work out any kinks the players may have gotten durin the game. Same bloodflow principle as with the pitchers. |
