Lets all take a moment today and thank the soldiers who have helped make it possible for us to enjoy baseball. I am lucky enough that I have my twin grandsons with me today in Illinois celebrating my dad's 90th birthday. He served during World War II and I am an offcial war baby.

If it weren't for the efforts of the fine men and women like your dad our boys wouldn't have the opprotunity to enojoy the game of baseball or anything else we as Americans choose to do in this FREE Country of ours. Tell him thanks from the gang in GA.
Thanks all. In looking through some of his things I wonder what would happen in todays political environment if the government rationed gasoline and food.
