Then later on the article... "A lot of kids have left their arms at the East Cobb complex," the veteran scout said. "A lot of clubs are wary of Georgia high school pitchers. I go through it every year..."
John Manuel has been writing for BA for years. I found it interesting that his concerns over arm abuse on the GA travel ball circuit mirror many of the threads I have read here. The scouts he talked to for the story also expressed the same concerns.
