Heard of this the first time today where a team that didn't qualify to play in a big tournament. Where the coach call the dir and pretty much begged to be let in.
Example: USSSA. Team didn't qualify for the NIT Super 32 even though they tried. So the coach pretty much calls and bugs the dir to be let in. Of course the dir is not going to turn any money down even if the team didn't qualify.
there is no event that you can not pay your way into. TC in myrtle just hit pay tab or grand slam panama city just pay your way. No director turns down money period.
