Guys maybe I'm just naive and want to believe the best but here's my question: How prevalent do you think steroids are here in Georgia in high school baseball? I say that they're being used rarely if at all. But others tell me they're being used...?
Not sure but back in mid to late 90's they were used by way more than you would have thought. I guess that is why you saw so many drafted that never made it far.
I wouldn't even want to guess, I just hope by the time my son gets to high school I hope they have mandatory testing. Sad thing is most coaches know or have an idea who might be using these things, but don't intervene.
We're in HS and I have never heard of it being raised as an issue. Doesn't mean it isn't happening, I have just never even heard it raised as an issue.
We had a kid kicked off the football team for steriod use. He transfered to another school and continued his football career. Good to see that there's schools out there looking out for the kids best interest :)
