#8203;The Georgia Old School Travel Baseball League was formed in 2016 after a year of some of the teams scrimmaging during the 2015 season. We are an organization of travel baseball teams who want to play games but not always in a tournament, allowing teams & families some time off but still allow a game or two during the week or on the weekend. They can also save a few dollars that the team can use for other needs. The purpose of the league is to promote good competition, respect between teams and families, scheduling structure, and enhanced communications. "Old School" was selected as we want to represent a time when fundamentals and playing the game the right way were stressed.
Fees for 2016 were $200/team which covered each player/coach receiving a shirt as well as year end awards for the top teams. Teams are responsible for paying for the umpires and securing their field time.
