| As the area continues to dry out after this weeks floods. Which fields/complexes got the worst of it? How is their condition now? |

| I saw pictures of the park at Powder Springs that required a boat to get across. I can't imagine how long it will take for them to dry out. Much less what damage were caused by the flooding of the park. |

Alter - I saw that as well - couldn't believe my eyes as I saw the tops of several out-buildings and dugouts barely above water level!! That creek became a massive RIVER!!
How ARE ECB fields at present? More rain to come - maybe 4" they say! |

PS Park will likely suffer lots of damage after the water subsides...could jepardize the fall season.
One park in Paulding County has been devestated and is looking for alternate locations for the kids to play!!! |

| We, the Powder Springs Seminoles, lost both of our parks in the flood. We play out of Legion in Austell as well. Powder Springs park needs a lot of work. Out field fences were pushed up into the infields, dugouts were destroyed, concession stands will have to be condemed. As for Legion Park, we cant get to it yet to view the damage. The city said it is worse than Powder Springs Park. Lucky for us, because we play 14u now, we will play mostly out or Wild Horse Creek park and it is ok... |

| ATPP was torn up pretty bad. A lot of the fences were damaged and one of the infields has all the gravel spread through it. They said the water was over the outfield fences. I am sure legion field in Austell is a mess. |

I haven't seen the fields, but East Cobb canceled their Triple Crown tournament this weekend and I don't think the fields are available for practices either.
Sandy Plains fall rec league resumed play last night. |

| The local rec park my son used to play at, Metlock park, had 4 feet of water on a few of the fields. I have not been by today. |

I emailed back and forth with ECB officials this morning and they said that the metal building was ruined and had standing water.
The fields are "okay", but very tender which is why they cancelled the tournament this weekend. They certainly can't take any more rain. |

Apparently the indoor cages got flooded somehow. Not sure if that was due to a leak or what. Lessons were cancelled today is all I know.
I hate to hear about the other parks, but am not surprised. |

| The upper metal covered batting cage at ECB is the one that I heard was flooded...ECB does have an indoor building up top where hitting lessons occur that has two nets with batting cages inside..not sure of the damage to that building... |
