My son is small but needs to move to a drop 3 this year. What is the most balanced drop 3 out today?

The Demarini Voodoo is balanced and actually swings lighter than a -3. Several of the others seem to swing a little heavy and may be a struggle for smaller players. Good luck in your bat search.

We had a small kid on our 12U team this past spring that used a -3 Rawlings 5150. I thought the bat was too heavy but he hit well with it and even hit a few out on smaller 12U fields. When I picked the bat up it really did not feel like a -3, as the post said earlier it felt more like a -5. It's also an inexpensive bat in comparison to most others.

Good subject. My son is in the same boat. He got a -3 5150 as a replacement. But we havent been fond of the 5150. We did a comparison between the -5 Plasma Gold and the -5 5150. There was no comparison. the Plasma Gold hit at least 30 feet further...if not more.

Just might have to add a -3 Voodoo to the ever growing bat collection.
