I hear 60+ kids showed. Teams are picked. New B team Jaguars is mostly Kennesaw Express and the A team Cougars dropped 2 and picked up 3 very talented kids. The dates etc were on their main web-site and this blog. |

I believe Shamrocks will be playing out of Perry Parham, as well as 1st-year 13u team Marietta Rockhounds. |

Same park. Perry Parham baseball was what it used to be called. They used to have a pretty good program int he 80's and early 90's out of there. They played pony or whatever it was back then. I think that park used to be a city of marietta park and they could not keep it up or something and the county took it over. Custer park which was down the street had three diamonds they folded for money reason I think in the early 90's and then perry parham took it over and I guess they folded also. I wonder how 6-4-3 got the go ahead to use this park do they have to pay the county money since they are a business. Maybe some of you guys could contact the county about custer park off fairground street the 9-12 yr. old field is playable with a little work. Looks like nobody has used it in a couple of years though. I think the park changed to larry bell when the county took it over. I could be wrong on this stuff though. |

Perry Parham field is located in Larry Bell Park on Fairground St in Marietta (off the South 120 Loop). |

Hearing both of these park names brings back memories. I started at Perry Parham and moved on to a travel team out of Custer Park @ 13. Then on to good ole ECB. |
