Points.

How was it they got 220 points for playing in a 13U AAA tournament as a Major team? Not sure that is within the rules, though. Thanks for drawing this to our attention Mammabee.

Congratulations for scoring the most number of USSSA points in Georgia. A team from Nebraska is 3rd in the USSSA "rankings" on a national scale. So are you saying the Nebraska team is a better, more highly ranked team than the Georgia teams? No, they just scored more points because they played in more USSSA tournaments. Just like Bulldog and P.C. in Georgia.

This is not to take away the good seasons by Bulldog and P.C. They had very good seasons. But it's like congratulating the East Cobb Longhorns on being ranked #1 in USTBA.

Mammabee, Tell the kids as many times as you can that they have had a great season. Fuel the passion for baseball, fuel the passion for being the best each kid can be, fuel the passion for being the best kid each one can be. The scoreboards set up by adults out there are all subjective and can be built up or torn down with a couple of conversations. the real scoreboard is - did the boys leave it all on the field and want to come back tomorrow and do it all over again, win or lose.

Hey Coach what exactly are you saying ?

Short of actually purchasing points any way a team earns them through USSSA sounds legitimate to me !!

Dont like to ask but , do I detect some envy in your remarks?

mammabee,
Now that the Elite is over and the Astros won and got the 1000 points, and Vipers ended up 9th and got 250 points, that puts the Astros at #1 and the Vipers at #2. Great season by both teams. Represented Georgia, nationally, really well.
