Roadrunners, Braves and Longhorns all had early exits from this one in Bracket Play. Only Mill Creek has made it to the final 4.

By early you mean one round earlier. It was only a 9 team championship bracket. With the Longhorns winning their play in game then lossing to the Juice. Braves lose to the Red Rage, and the Roadrunners losing to the Florida Bombers in the round of 8. Mill Creek made it one round further (final 4) then lost to the Juice in what sounds like a GREAT game in a 2-1 loss. Mill Creek was playing very good baseball at the end of the season.

Overall I was not very impressed with the tournament put on by AAU! Not very many teams and why have so many organizations gotten away from double elimination formats??? AAU used to at least play out to a place as well, and no longer does. Even one of the AAU representatives told me it was about the money!

Actually Mill Creek was the #4 seed. The Pro Ball Cobras were the #5 seed. Mill Creek made it to the final 4 facing Chet Lemon's Juice losing by a score of 2-1. The Juice saved their #1 pitcher for that game and let me tell you that kid can throw a fastball like no other. Congratulations to all of our Georgia teams as they represented our state well. We were all pulling for each other and it showed.
